CPM QuickStart Guide

Trouble Tickets

If you’re having problems that aren’t solved by looking at the help on this page, you can open a trouble ticket at our Help Desk (link opens in a new window)

Known Issues

The following are known issues that are on the “fix it” list. In most cases I can’t say exactly when the problem will be fixed, but they are all being looked at.

Duplicate Assets

When you first create a new project and expand it in the tree, you may see each asset twice. If you collapse that project and then open it again, the duplicates will be gone. It usually only happens the first time after you've created a new project.

The files themselves aren't duplicated, and there are not dupes in the project database. Close and reopen the project in the tree and the dupes should be gone.

The problem is being worked on and should be fixed in one of the next updates.

Launch button (Windows only)

The Simulator can be launched from inside CPM, but the "connection" between the two is dropped, so after viewing changes in the Simulator, you must Exit the Simulator before going back to CPM. If you don't, CPM will hang the next time you hit the Launch button and will stay frozen until you manually close the Simulator.
See the video "Better Windows Workflow" for a tip about this.

Terminal Pane (Windows only)

Feedback from the Simulator doesn't show up in the Terminal pane. Instead, it shows up in the terminal window that's opened when the Simulator launches.
