Although you can still use whichever text editor you want for your Lua files, CPM gave me a great all-in-one place to do my Corona development from. Fire it up, create a new project and BAM! You’re on your way. Add all the files you want to your project, CPM handles it automagically, referencing the files from where they live on your hard drive to a project virtually. Draw upon a library of code you make all from one “Library” folder and CPM handles it all for you. Change your “main” file out to experiment on with another file, I can’t get over how easy it makes to slap a quick prototype together without dragging and dropping in the finder, renaming, yada yada. I can’t stress this enough; if you develop in Corona, you NEED CPM. Period!”

“I use the Corona Project Manager every day. I initially used Corona without any tools and it was OK but CPM helps keep everything organized without juggling files in Finder. I can “crank up” CPM, pick the game I am working on and it is all ready to go. Having the terminal output in the lower window makes debugging much easier. When you need to add an asset just drag it into the project asset window and you are ready to go. CPM brings all of the “loose ends” you have to deal with manually for Corona development into one place. My first game is waiting approval by Apple and the second is underway. Corona is a great SDK.
